Terms of Use

Who may use the app

Banana Teacher is provided by craft think to help children learn English under a parent or guardian’s supervision. Parents should review these terms and the Privacy Policy and manage profiles and family sharing.

Learning and AI

Questions come from prepared learning materials. AI is used for speech recognition, answer evaluation, explanations and teacher speech, so recognition and explanations may be incorrect. Levels and indicators guide practice within the app; they do not guarantee school grades, grade-equivalent English proficiency or any qualification or certification.

Accounts

Signing in is optional. If you delete the app or lose your device while using it without signing in, records may not be recoverable. Parents are responsible for managing sign-in credentials and family invitations.

Connectivity and records

Normal games require an internet connection. If connectivity is lost, progress pauses and recovery is attempted from saved state. Unsent records and information displayed locally do not indicate successful server saving.

Appropriate use

Do not access another person’s account without authorization, disrupt the service, improperly disclose credentials or register photos that infringe another person’s rights.

Prices and purchases

The standard Japan plan costs ¥900 per month including tax. The Double plan costs ¥1,800 per month including tax and shares twice the allowance across family profiles. The standard plan is intended for about three games a day for roughly 30 days. Actual game counts vary with conversation length and audio reuse. This allowance is separate from earned Banana XP. New one-time purchases are not offered.

Your first subscription starts with a 7-day free trial, with up to 21 games on the standard plan or 42 on the Double plan, shared across family profiles. Reaching the game cap does not start billing earlier. Unless canceled, the selected plan renews automatically at its monthly price after the trial. Monthly allowance expires at the next renewal and does not roll over. You can cancel anytime in Apple subscription settings. Review the final price and introductory-offer terms in Apple’s purchase confirmation.

If a purchase is not reflected, restore purchases or contact support rather than purchasing again. Subscriptions can be cancelled through Apple Account subscription management. Deleting the app or account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds follow Apple’s process and conditions without limiting statutory rights.

Changes and interruptions

Maintenance, connectivity problems or external service failures may temporarily interrupt availability. Important changes to service conditions or closure of the service will be announced in the app or on these pages.
